CAD (Computer-Aided Design) – technology applied by designers and draft, prepare, as well as develop technological documentation on computers. It eliminates the time-consuming and crude method of drawing by hand with an electronic method of producing two or three-dimensional representations of products or even real-life objects.

CAD in its general sense means computer-aided design and drafting is used in many or most fields as 3D printing or dentistry, architecture, fashion designing, cartography, etc. CAD also supports the effectiveness of the work of design specialists and speeds up the process of designing.
