Privacy policy
How IDEALOGIC DEVELOPMENT OÜ collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data across idealogic.io, in line with the GDPR.
Last updated 4 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how IDEALOGIC DEVELOPMENT OÜ ("Idealogic", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit idealogic.io, get in touch, or receive our marketing. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.
Who we are
Idealogic is IDEALOGIC DEVELOPMENT OÜ, a company registered in Estonia at Harju maakond, Tallinn, Lasnamäe linnaosa, Katusepapi tn 6-502, 11412. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For anything to do with your data, email us at hello@idealogic.io.
Information we collect
We collect personal data in a few different ways.
Information you give us. When you fill in a form, request information, subscribe to updates, or email us, we collect what you choose to share — usually your name, email address, company, job title, country, and the contents of your message.
Information we collect automatically. When you use the site, we receive technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring and exit pages, timestamps, and the approximate location derived from your IP address.
Information from third parties. We may receive data about you from analytics providers, advertising networks, and publicly available sources such as social platforms.
Aggregated data. We also produce anonymised statistics — for example, how many people visited a page. This is not personal data, because it cannot identify you, unless we combine it with other information that can.
We do not set out to collect special categories of data (such as health, ethnicity, or political views) or information about criminal convictions, except where the law requires it.
How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- run, secure, and improve idealogic.io and our services;
- respond to your enquiries and provide the information or services you ask for;
- send marketing you have agreed to receive, and understand how you engage with it;
- diagnose technical problems and keep the site safe;
- meet our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations.
Under the GDPR, we rely on one or more of these legal bases when we process your data:
- Consent — for example, when you opt in to marketing. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Performance of a contract — when we provide services you or your employer have engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests — running and improving our business and website, as long as your rights do not override those interests.
- Legal obligation — when the law requires us to keep or disclose certain records.
If we ever need to use your data for a new, unrelated purpose, we will tell you first and explain the legal basis for it.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser, and you can read the full details in our Cookie Policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- group companies and vetted service providers who process data on our behalf — for hosting, analytics, security, CRM, and similar functions — under contracts that require them to protect it;
- professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where we need their help;
- authorities, regulators, or courts, where the law requires it or where we need to establish or defend our legal rights or protect someone's safety;
- anyone you ask us to share it with, or where you have given consent.
A current list of our group companies is available on request.
International transfers
We may process your data on servers outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where we do, we put appropriate safeguards in place — usually the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — so your data keeps a level of protection equivalent to EU law.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes set out here, plus any period we are required to keep it for legal, accounting, or reporting reasons. To decide how long that is, we weigh the amount and sensitivity of the data, the risk of harm from misuse, whether we can achieve the same purpose another way, and what the law requires.
How we protect your data
We protect personal data the way we protect our own confidential information: access is limited to people who need it, data is encrypted where appropriate, and it is stored on secured servers. We keep procedures for handling any personal data breach, and we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires us to.
Marketing communications
If you have asked us for information, or you or your employer has worked with us, we may send you occasional updates and newsletters about services we think are relevant. This data is stored in our CRM. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing hello@idealogic.io.
Your privacy rights
If your data is protected by EU data protection law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or update it;
- ask us to erase it;
- object to or restrict how we process it;
- ask us to transfer it to another provider (data portability);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these, email us at hello@idealogic.io. There is normally no fee, and we aim to respond within one month — we will let you know if a complex request needs longer.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Estonia, that is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate — Andmekaitse Inspektsioon — at aki.ee. We would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first, so please consider contacting us before you do.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites, plugins, and services we do not control. Following those links may let third parties collect data about you. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so we would encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Children's privacy
idealogic.io and our services are meant for businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date below and, for significant changes, post a notice on the site. Continuing to use idealogic.io after an update means you accept the revised policy.
