AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer
Build products with AI in the loop from day one, not bolted on after. Ship full-stack features with agentic tooling as a first-class part of the workflow, and know when to steer the agent and when to take the wheel back.
This role is for someone who has already crossed the line: not experimenting with AI tools, not planning to fold them in sometime soon, but already working in a loop where an AI agent is in the diff before they are, and knowing exactly what to do with what comes back. We are at a point where vibe coding and agentic coding are real options in a production engineering workflow, not clever tricks for toy projects, and this role is for the person who has figured out how to get value from both without shipping the problems that come when you stop paying attention.
The products are full-stack and mostly regulated. Fintech flows, healthtech records, logistics platforms where a wrong value is not a test failure but a real event. AI does not lower that bar. What it does is let a skilled engineer move faster, cover more ground in a sprint, and iterate closer to the design intent without the scaffolding time that used to sit between the idea and the first working version. You will build features across Next.js and Node.js, own them from spec through deployment, and bring AI tooling in as a first-class part of how that work gets done, not as an afterthought on the side.
The AI-native part of this title is not a vibe. Idealogic's 2028 strategy puts agentic delivery at the center of how the studio operates, and this role is part of making that real at the feature level. The person who succeeds here knows how to direct an agent through the tedious work, spot the places where the output passes a test but fails a user, and take the wheel back when it counts. That judgment is the skill.
If you have been building this way and you want to do it in a studio where it is the expectation rather than the experiment, send your CV and point us at something you have shipped.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features across Next.js front-ends and Node.js backends, owning them from spec to production
- Fold AI tooling into your workflow as the primary way code gets written, iterated, and tested, not as a side experiment
- Use agentic coding loops well enough to know when to trust the output and when to take back the keyboard
- Ship features in regulated products where correctness is not optional and a wrong edge case has real consequences
- Work close to the product lead and sometimes the client, turning a rough requirement into something that actually runs
Requirements
- Two or more years shipping full-stack work in production, with TypeScript as your default on both sides
- You have worked AI tooling into your day-to-day and you have formed opinions about where it helps and where it misleads
- Comfortable with React and Next.js on the front and Node.js on the back, and with the data patterns in between
- You review AI-generated code with the same eye you would bring to a junior's pull request, because you know what can go wrong
- Solid English for a distributed team that designs and debugs mostly in writing
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated domain such as fintech or healthtech, where an edge case is a real-world problem
- You have used Claude Code, Cursor, or a similar agentic tool on a non-trivial codebase, not just a tutorial
- You have written or contributed to agent tooling, prompts, or workflows, not just consumed them
What we offer
- Real products with real users across fintech, healthtech, logistics, and blockchain, built end to end
- An AI-native workflow from day one, with the tooling and the norms already in place rather than being figured out
- Remote-first across Europe, flexible hours, and outcomes that matter more than seat time
- Senior squads where the people who scope the work are the ones who ship it
- A studio building its delivery around AI-native engineering, so the direction is set and the work compounds
