Documentation

Idealogic’s Glossary

Documentation - a record of all requirements and specifications of the development of a particular project, its architecture, target audience, and more. It elaborates the issues related to the project, objectives and tactics of problem solving and also the duties and responsibilities of candidate team members.

The main goal of well structured documentation is the involvement of all the stakeholders and every member of the team, in other words, a good documentation produces a well defined and more organized pattern of development. Typically, documentation is divided into two categories: Thus, there is an external kind, which is directed at the clients and users, and there is the internal kind which is used within the team and is focused more on the processes and the standardization of actions.
